Elon Musk was born on June 28 1971 in Pretoria South Africa. He was particularly curious while young and developed interest in technologies and by the age of 12; he already knew how to code. He immigrated to the United States to chase those dreams: first, by going to college, and then starting his company in the tech industry. After the efficient teamwork with Omidyar in Zip2 and PayPal he founded Tesla, SpaceX, etc. Now he’s more famous for stretching the limits of what’s achievable on our planet and even past it!

1. He created his first video game at the age of 12.
Now, buckle your seatbelts, folks for this is too much to swallow – Elon Musk the man behind spaces, cars and renewable energy created his first video game at the age of 12 years. The game was as simple as a space invader; it was branded “Blastar” and was developed by him alone. He even sold it for $500! It appears that such an early focus on space and technology laid a good foundation for his projects.
2. He Has Six Children
Musk is a father to six children. He had five sons, from his first wife – Justine Musk, with twins and triplets and one son with the musician Grimes. He has said something about being a dad and I know that, despite his working schedule, he likes to see his children. Just like his businesses, Musk’s family life is as colourful and complicated as it gets!
3. He Was the Inspiration for Tony Stark in “Iron Man”
When the actor Robert Downey Jr. was gearing up to portray Tony Stark / Iron Man for Marvel’s movie, he found his role Model in Elon Musk. Stark’s character was reflected in Musk’s futuristic ideas and grandiose plans of self making him the perfect match for the role. Elon even made his cameo appearance in “Iron Man 2”. Well, joking aside, with all Elon’s doings, if you ever felt like he is the man out of a comic strip, you are not the only one to think so.

4. He Dropped Third Year from his PhD
Elon Musk, was offered a place in a PhD program in applied physics at Stanford University, but he refusing it after two days. He understood that internet market is growing and decided that it will be more interesting to find a startup of a technologically-based company. That choice set the stage for the creation of Zip2 and all of the other enterprises that he would eventually launch. You just have to love it when people trust their intuition.
5. He Owns a James Bond Car
Arnold Schwarzenegger The presenter also revealed that Elon Musk recently purchased an actual submarine car from a James Bond movie the Spy Who Loved Me. He allegedly spent close to one million dollars on it at a sale. Elon was surprised to find out it doesn’t convert in to a submarine, so he wanted to make the car work like the movie car. Who apart from Musk could turn a prop from a Hollywood movie into the next likely project for engineers?
