Madam Diana Aduko Aburiya, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Bongo Constituency has called on the people of Bongo to make her the Member of Parliament and see her potentials.
According to Madam Diana, the people of Bongo have consistently voted for men and sent them to Parliament for all these 32 years hoping to get development but all of them together have failed to improve our lives.
She added that “the people that we have voted for all these years are now taking us for granted because they believe that we will always vote for them and for that matter, there is no need for them to do anything for us” “People outside our constituency are now Making mockery of us because of our failure to change our voting preference” she added.
She assured the people of Bongo that she is a woman with a vision to change the fortunes of the constituency and will not disappoint them when voted into power.
Madam Diana Aduko Aburiya was speaking during the Launch of the 60th Anniversary celebration of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church-Vea where she was invited to assist in the fundraising event.
She reminded the congregation that “We don’t have to handover what belongs to the Eldely to children” stating that she was told in 2012 when she contested the seat with the former MP: Hon. Albert Abongo that she came to meet Hon. Abongo and so the seat should be given to him.
“In the same way, my fellow contestant also came to meet me which directly makes me the elder, hence the one to take over” She added.
