Sally Mann: “Shatta Wale Can’t Do Anything to Me; His Anger Is Just Online

In a candid interview on Joy Prime on November 7, 2024, journalist Sally Mann expressed her views on being a critical voice in the entertainment industry and responded to recent comments made by Shatta Wale and his followers.

“I’ve been in the industry for 18 years, and I understand that just like myself, people can be loud online but not necessarily take action,” Sally said. “When people talk about SM and Ashaiman fans, I see them as ‘audio’ people—they make noise on the internet, but that’s where it stops.

I don’t believe Shatta Wale would actually do anything to me because I’ve criticized him.
Sally also encouraged other journalists to remain bold and unafraid to speak the truth. “We need more people in the industry who can provide honest critique. Not everyone should be flattering celebrities.
