Marco Angulo Passes on at 22

Ecuadorian footballer Marco Angulo, aged 22, tragically passed away following a severe car accident that occurred 35 days prior.

The incident involved a high-speed collision with a 50-ton metal structure, resulting in significant injuries, including a lung contusion and severe head trauma that required surgery.

Angulo, who had represented Ecuador’s national team and was on loan to LDU Quito from FC Cincinnati, succumbed to his injuries despite medical efforts.

His untimely death has deeply affected the football community in Ecuador.
