Expert Greensboro NC Personal Trainer Will Powell Reported Dead
Reports indicate that well-known Greensboro, North Carolina personal trainer, Will Powell, has passed away.
Powell, the operator of the famous Powell fitness gym in Greensboro, died on the morning of Sunday, January 5, 2025, as stated by the Masters Fitness Championship, which was one of the organizations that reported the loss.
William Powell was a three-time champion of the CrossFit Games. His victories occurred in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
A year following his 2016 victory, he received a diagnosis of a tumor in his left lung. He had it taken out and came back to compete, capturing the Fittest on Earth title in 2021.
Powell applied his skills to instructing others by establishing the Powell Fitness and Wellness Studio in Greensboro, his place of residence. The Lockhart native aided hundreds, if not more, on their fitness and weight loss paths and frequently garnered glowing feedback for his services.
The late fitness expert was wed to Terry Powell. His significant influence was recalled by many, who admired his strength in facing multiple health challenges and emphasized his effect on countless individuals through his guidance in their fitness paths.
