Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, was born in Tamale, Ghana, on October 7, 1963, and is a politician and economist. The leadership gene must be inherited because his father was a politician and a member of the group that founded Ghana’s Northern Peoples Party(NPP). Dr. Bawumia has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Buckingham in England, a Master of Arts in Economics from Oxford University England; and Ph.D in Economics from Simon Fraser University Canada. Later in his life, he switched to politics and took over Ghana as the Vice President of the country in 2017.
