Former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has urged politicians in Ghana to accept the results of the upcoming December 7 elections, emphasizing the importance of peace and democracy.
Leading the West African Elders Forum, he highlighted that credible elections are essential for maintaining Ghana’s reputation as a democratic beacon in the region.
Jonathan stated, “Only one person wins in an election, and so whenever you are going for an election, you should be ready to either win or lose.” He called on all stakeholders to ensure a peaceful electoral process, reinforcing that acceptance of results is crucial for national stability and unity.
