I will make food cheaper – Ato Forson

The Finance Minister Designate, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has assured Ghanaians that he will do everything in his power to make food cheaper in the country.

During his vetting by the appointment committee, he explaind that paying much attention to agriculture is a culture that, when embraced, will help to reduce the prices of food.

“The time has come for us to pay attention to the agricultural sector. I will wait for the nomination of the minister responsible for agriculture”, he said.

Dr. Ato Forson looks forward to working with the nominated Minister of Agriculture to implement policies that would help grow the agricultural sector, thereby decreasing the prices of food for a comfortable living standard.
