Roads Ministry pledges traffic alleviation starting on November 15 at Flower Pot Interchange

The Ministry of Roads and Highways has announced that traffic relief measures at the Flower Pot Interchange will begin on November 15, 2024.
This initiative aims to alleviate the severe congestion affecting commuters in the area, particularly around the Flower Pot Flyover.
Ahmed Nasir Yartey, the Ministry’s Public Relations Officer, indicated that significant improvements should be evident by November 18.
The contractor is working diligently, although some tasks, like asphalt application, cannot occur at night. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the Flyover if possible due to limited diversion options.
The project includes an 800-meter flyover designed to enhance north-south traffic flow and improve access to surrounding regions, with President Akufo-Addo set to officially commission it on November 19, 2024
