
The Ghana Air Force has taken over guard duties at Jubilee House on Monday, April 7, 2025.
They took over from the Ghana Navy in the 43rd quarterly guard-changing ceremony, which took place at the Jubilee House, the seat of the presidency, on Monday, April 7, 2025.
This tradition, instituted by President John Dramani Mahama in 2013, marks a significant moment to bolster the country’s security.

The Ghana Armed Forces, who are the new guards, are responsible for maintaining security at the Jubilee House for the next quarter.
They are expected to uphold high standards and avoid practices that undermine safety and peace.
The new guards, clad in their uniforms, performed drills in the presence of President John Dramani Mahama.

The ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Minister for Defense, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah; the Interior Minister, Muntake Mubarak; the Chief of Staff, Mr. Julius Debrah; and others.
The ceremony was witnessed by selected schools from Accra to patriotism and national pride.
