International Women’s Day Celebration: Comfee Ghana Donates Air Conditioners to 37 Military Hospital’s Maternity Unit

Comfee Ghana, an appliance company that specializes in air conditioning systems, has donated 10 sets of air conditioners worth GH₵70,000 to the maternity department of the 37 Military Hospital as a gesture to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The donation, which took place on Friday, March 7, is aimed at providing a more comfortable and conducive environment for expectant mothers during childbirth.
Beyond the donation of the air conditioners, the company has also committed to handling their installation and future servicing to ensure they remain in perfect working condition.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Director of Comfee Ghana, Pearl Gborglah, explained the motivation behind the initiative.
“Our goal is to contribute to maternal healthcare by ensuring that expectant mothers have a comfortable and hygienic environment during childbirth. The 37 Military Hospital was chosen because it is a national medical facility that does not only serve the military but also attends to civilians, including some of the most severe medical cases in the country. It is a hospital that leads in times of crisis, and we believe this is the best place to make an impact,” she said.

As the event coincided with International Women’s Day, she also took the opportunity to encourage women to believe in themselves and work hard toward their goals.
“Put your mind to whatever you want to do, and you will be successful,” she urged.
