Kofi Adomah Injured by Stray Gunshot at Funeral – FACT CHECK

Kofi Adomah, a prominent and celebrated Ghanaian media personality, is currently undergoing treatment in Dubai after sustaining a serious eye injury.
The incident occurred during a funeral ceremony in Dormaa, where celebratory gunfire or gun musketry tragically went awry.
A stray bullet struck Adomah in the eye, causing significant damage.
This unfortunate event has shocked the nation and highlighted the dangers of celebratory gunfire, a practice that remains prevalent despite its inherent risks.
Earlier in the day, Afia Pokuaa, AKA Vim Lady of the Despite Group of Companies, and one of the closest friends of Kofi Adomah made a post on her Facebook page alleging that he was shot in the eye by unknown assailants. Most of the Ghanaian traditional and new media reported what she shared as the truth.
”Yesu, Kofi, I’m praying for your full recovery and healing. Kofi Adomah, I have been panicking since hearing the news that you were shot in the eye.” She broke the story, causing panic and fear among his family and loved ones.
After the thorough fact-checking activity conducted by our desk at XtremeMediaOnline.Com discovered that Kofi Adomah was never a target but rather , he was accidentally hit in the eye during a gun musketry in Dormaa.
Again, Vim Lady made a post that suggests she shared a rumor.
”Bless you for all your prayers. Kofi Adomah is stable.
He was hit by pellets from shots fired during a traditional event at Dormaa while working. Glory to God for his mercies. Continue to send your prayers up to the heavens; God remains on the throne,” she concluded.
The CEO of Kofi TV has left the shores of Ghana and is currently at the Moorfields Eye Hospital in Dubai for treatment.
