Mark Wahlberg: Las Vegas Restaurant Fire Wasn’t a Big Deal—Just a “Hot” Start to the Night!

Mark Wahlberg downplayed the fire that broke out at his Mexican food restaurant, Flecha Cantina, in Las Vegas, calling it “no big deal” since it never actually made it into the building. Mark explained that the fire was caused by a malfunctioning fire pit outside, which flared up but didn’t damage the interior. In fact, Wahlberg joked that the fire officially made Flecha Cantina the “hottest restaurant in the world”—a playful jab at the fiery incident.
He clarified that the flames only seemed to affect the indoor dining area due to the reflection off the windows, adding that the fire was contained outside. The incident delayed the restaurant’s grand opening by just an hour, but after that, everything went smoothly.

In addition to the fire, Mark also opened up about his other business ventures, including Wahlburgers and his new fitness venture, Municipal Gym, in the Las Vegas area. He shared that he chooses his projects based on his own lifestyle and values, always prioritizing a key characteristic in every business he takes on.
And as for Flecha Cantina, well, nothing like a flambéed patio to give your restaurant a sizzling start!
