Meet DCOP Abdul-Osman Razak, National Security Coordinator

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Abdul-Osman Razak is a distinguished law enforcement officer, recently appointed as the National Security Coordinator by President John Dramani Mahama.

Prior to this appointment, he served as a course director at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, where he was known for his strategic acumen and operational expertise.

His extensive experience in security management and operations positions him well to address both internal and external threats, fostering seamless collaboration across all security agencies.

DCOP Osman served as an Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to John Dramani Mahama during his tenure as Vice President and later as President of Ghana.

Unfortunately, he was never promoted for the past 10-yrs in the Police Service, until yesterday when President John Mahama appointed him as the National Security Coordinator.
