
The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a 30-day grace period for biometric compliance for personnel who have not completed their final biometric validation to do so at their respective regional offices.
This concession aims to accommodate 6,635 affected personnel who, despite being posted since October 1, 2024, have yet to report and complete their validation process.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the NSA cautioned that personnel who fail to complete their biometric validation within the stipulated 30-day grace period will have their registration and posting revoked.
“All deployed the snow who have not yet completed their final biometric validation at their respective regional offices are granted a 30 day grace period, ending on March 19, 2025, to fulfill this requirement. Failure to comply within this. Will result in the automatic nullification of the registration saying, in accordance with the law,” the statement read.
The NSA further announced that it will only process payroll for deployed personnel after they have completed biometric validation and reported to their designated districts for monthly evaluation.
