Police Praise NDC and NPP for Conducting Peaceful Final Rallies

The Ghana Police Service has commended the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for conducting their final campaign rallies peacefully ahead of the December 7 general elections. The Police acknowledged the cooperation of both political parties in adhering to guidelines that ensured order and security during the events.

In separate statements, the leadership of the Police Service highlighted the importance of maintaining peace and safety during political activities, especially as the country approaches the crucial elections. They praised both parties for demonstrating political maturity and a commitment to the democratic process by engaging their supporters responsibly.

The rallies, which attracted thousands of supporters, were held in Accra, with the NDC rallying at Zurak Park in Madina and the NPP gathering at the University of Ghana Sports Directorate Park.
