Quincy Jones, the legendary music titan who collaborated with nearly every major icon—from Michael Jackson to Frank Sinatra to Will Smith—has passed away.
Arnold Robinson, Quincy’s publicist, shared the heartbreaking news that he died Sunday night at his home in Bel Air, surrounded by his beloved family.

In a statement, Quincy’s family expressed their sorrow, saying, “Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of our father and brother Quincy Jones’ passing.

This is an incredible loss for our family, but we celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and recognize that there will never be another like him.”
The family is deeply thankful for the outpouring of condolences during this difficult time and has requested privacy. Instead of flowers, they ask that donations be made to The Jazz Foundation of America.

Quincy was hailed by Time Magazine as one of the most influential jazz musicians of the 20th century, and his impact on the music industry was nothing short of transformative.
