Soldier Shot in Bawku By Faceless Gunmen 

Bawku for the past decades is always in the news for the wrong reasons.

A soldier of the Ghana Armed Forces has been shot by someone unknown or unidentified. This happened on January 10th 2025.

According to journalist Castro Senyalah who broke the story said the gunmen and faceless.

”To those calling, yes it is true. A soldier was shot in Bawku by some faceless gunmen this afternoon. This has triggered an operation to retrieve the arms.

Some civilian casualties have been reported, but I can’t place a number on that now.
