Suhuyini: NPP’s poor performance has angered Ghanaians.

Alhassan Suhuyini, the Member of Parliament for Tamale North, has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for its poor performance under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo.
Suhuyini, a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), claimed that the NPP’s governance failures have led to widespread frustration among Ghanaians. According to him, the government’s inability to meet expectations, particularly in economic management, has provoked public discontent.
Suhuyini pointed to the economic challenges facing the country, including rising inflation, a depreciating currency, and growing public debt.
These issues, he argued, were exacerbated by the NPP’s unfulfilled promises and poor handling of the economy. Furthermore, the MP criticized the government’s perceived arrogance and failure to address the concerns of the electorate, particularly with regard to the high cost of living and job insecurity. The party’s handling of critical sectors like healthcare and education also contributed to the growing dissatisfaction.
This poor performance, Suhuyini asserts, has led many Ghanaians to lose faith in the NPP and demand change. With the 2024 elections approaching, he emphasized that the electorate is eager for a shift in leadership, one that would offer more effective solutions to the nation’s pressing issues .
